Call for Local Action Group members : APPLY NOW!

A Local Action Group (LAG) is being formed to run the South Pennines LEADER programme representing the different social, environmental and economic interests in the South Pennines area. The LAG will have the task of implementing the Local Development Strategy, making decisions about the allocation of financial resources and managing the programme.

Pennine Prospects is now calling for anyone interested in becoming a LAG member to submit a formal application.

Potential applicants should have an interest in / expertise in rural development initiatives relating to investment in the area’s cultural and heritage provision, the provision of basic rural services and environmental improvements in rural settlements. A full application pack is available below.

All applications must be submitted by Thursday 10th July 2008.
