Area of Coverage of South Pennines Leader

This map shows the proposed area of coverage of the South Pennines Leader. The guidance states that we must not exceed 165,000 in population and the current boundary does currently exceed this slightly. However, the Gudiance also stipulates that there is to be no duplication of spend in the Renaissance Markets Town areas and if these are effectively “taken out” of the statistical calculations, the South Pennines Leader is well within the population guidelines.
