Posted: 20.12.12

The South Pennines Watershed Landscape Project is the UK Landscape Award winner of 2012 and now goes forward as the UK Government entry to the Council of Europe Landscape Award. Come and hear how the Project was influenced by national policy.

As part of its responsibilities in delivering the Natural Environment White Paper and the European Landscape Convention, Natural England is updating and improving the profiles for all 159 of the National Character Areas.

The South Pennines Watershed Landscape Project, managed by Pennine Prospects, was influenced by this work. Funded by HLF, it is part of a national Landscape Partnership Programme that will see significant investment in our treasured landscape over the next five years.

The venue will be Hebden Bridge Town Hall, Waterfront Hall. Details of how to get there and parking can be found here.

The venue is 15 minutes walk from Hebden Bridge Train Station.
