Pennine Prospects has enlisted the help of a helicopter to ensure a path can be laid on Ilkley Moor that will prevent the erosion of this delicate landscape.

With technical support from City of Bradford MDC’s Countryside Service and funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund ,contractors will lay ‘causey’ paving to prevent erosion of the moorland. Elsewhere, heather brash has been brought on site to restore areas of heather lost to the fire on the moor in 2006.
