Project Administration Assistant at Pennine Prospects

Responsible to: Pennine Prospects’ Business and Events Manager

Hours: 12 hours per week over 3 to 4 days at £14,430 pro rata, 6 month contract in the first instance with the possibility of extension to end November 2018.

Start date: September/October 2017 – end March 2018.

Job Description and Person Specification
Job Purpose
• To provide Project Managers and Pennine Prospects’ team with administration support
• To assist in promoting the awareness of the company and its activities
• To help increase and promote awareness of the South Pennines at all levels
• To help raise the profile of the South Pennines at all levels

• Some awareness and knowledge of economic and environmental sustainability of the South Pennines
• Effective communication skills, including social media and the enthusiasm to work in the field of promoting rural regeneration within the South Pennines are essential for all candidates.
• Some awareness of office and project management

Key roles and responsibilities
1. To work with Pennine Prospects staff and Company Members and partner organisations to promote the South Pennines through print, on-line and social media.
2. General office management, and office and project administration
3. Support corporate activities
4. General administration duties
5. Support to project teams
6. Event organization and promotion
7. Maintenance of stationery supplies
8. Maintenance of electronic folders and archives
9. Petty cash
10. Updating photo library
11. Booking meetings and venues
12. Coordinate and book staff training
13. Support Pennine Prospects’ Chair
14. Press releases
15. Promotion of Pennine Prospects and individual projects
16. Social media and maintenance of websites
17. Support on coordination of events and festivals

• Good time management skills
