South Pennine Events & Festivals

From walking festivals to heritage weekends; from family activity days to specialist archaeology days. There really is something for everyone ; any day ; any weather condition.

We have tried to upload a small sample of the events available . Most of our partners produce activity programmes across Calderdale, Bradford, Lancashire County Council and the National Trust.

Pennine Prospects also host the South Pennine Walk and Ride Festival every September co-ordinating a range of walks and rides across the South Pennines.

In 2011 look out for new events linked to our Watershed Landscape Project. From poetry workshops with some of our writers and artists in residence or find out about the archaeology of the South Pennines.
