Barbara Beeley

Barbara is a retired teacher who became a Saddleworth Parish Councillor in 2007 and later that year an Oldham Borough Councillor. From a rural and farming background she feels that farming, the rural economy and the sustainability of village life are constantly under threat and overlooked, especially in areas like the South Pennines, which is sandwiched between two city regions.
